Ms. Thomas is an entrepreneur, author and consultant specializing in international social and business etiquette & leadership development training, speaking and business coaching.

Amanita Thomas was trained and certified by the Etiquette and Leadership Institute in Athens, GA (2007), a leader in the children’s etiquette and leadership industry.  She is qualified to deliver a curriculum that coincides with a growing trend of building self-confidence and character in today’s youth.  Combined with parents’ and community leaders’ desire to raise vibrant, productive, children with an eagerness to become contributing members of their community and family, she is more than capable.  In addition to today’s youth her clientele includes young adults and corporate entities.

Ms. Thomas founded Raleigh’s House of Etiquette (NC) in 2007 and Georgia’s House of Etiquette, LLC in 2020, both consultant firms with a focus on delivering the E.D.G.E. to all clients.  These establishments address the needs of youth, student leaders and young adults, professionals and organizers that community leaders are unable to do so consistently and without priority.

Obsidian Consulting Group (OCG), LLC is the professional development arm of Georgia’s House of Etiquette. OCG offers corporate training through modern, innovative and interactive courses. This initiative expands the company’s professional development training portfolio, encompassing a diverse array of topics such as leadership, customer service, hospitality, personal coaching, and beyond.

As a certified member of the John Maxwell Leadership Team^®, she is equipped to address topics encompassing personal growth, etiquette, and leadership program development. Her expertise lies in nurturing transformative leaders who add significant value, with a particular focus on entrepreneurs, women, student leaders, and young professionals. Ms. Thomas offers programs for transformational thought leaders of all ages as a John Maxwell Certified Leadership Team^® member regarding coaching, speaking and training development.

She has also completed the Dale Carnegie Course^® a program designed to develop leadership and communication skills to inspire and motivate others with the mindset and the skillset to achieve better and different results.

A graduate of Drexel University, she holds a Master’s degree from Pfeiffer University.  Being a member of numerous national and local organizations, she has crafted tailored programs designed to cater to the specific needs of her participants and clients. Her dedication extends to active volunteering for charities that aim to instill confidence and impart social as well as professional business skills within underprivileged communities.

She is also the upcoming author of a resource guide on mannerisms and etiquette today due to be released in Q1 2024.
